Products found to contain undeclared medicines

| Australia: Help 100% & Pure Natural & Body Slim capsules contained the undeclared substance sibutramine |

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has tested a product labelled Help 100% & Pure Natural & Body Slim capsules and found that the capsules contained the undeclared substance sibutramine. Consumers are advised that sibutramine is a prescription-only medicine (which was the active ingredient in Reductil). It was withdrawn in October 2010 after a study showed an increased risk of major cardiac events. TGA investigations have shown that a number of people in Australia may have bought the product online. Consumers are advised to stop taking the product and take any remaining capsules to their local pharmacy for safe disposal. If they have any concerns arising from their use of this product, consult their health care practitioner.
