FDA announced the recall of SLIM XTREME Herbal Slimming Capsules (30 capsule bottles) by Globe All Wellness LLC, Hollywood, FL. The reason is the product tested positive for Sibutramine, an appetite suppressant that was withdrawn from the U.S. market in October 2010 for safety reasons, making this product unapproved new drug.

In Hong Kong, the above product is not a registered pharmaceutical product. The news has been released by the US FDA and Health Canada and was posted on the website of Pharmaceutical Service on 12 May 2011, 26 May 2011 and 13 July 2011.
