Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) announces that Glaxo Wellcome UK Limited is recalling one lot of Seretide Accuhaler 50 microgram/250 microgram/dose inhalation powder, pre-dispensed (Salmeterol/Fluticasone Propionate, Lot Number: 5K8W, Expiry Date: 04-2019, Pack Size: 1 x 60 doses) because a manufacturing issue with this lot has been identified which has resulted in a small number of units not delivering the full number of doses. This is not a patient level recall.

In Hong Kong, Seretide Accuhaler 50mcg/250mcg (HK-44735) is a pharmaceutical product registered by GlaxoSmithKline Limited (GSK), and is a prescription-only medicine. As confirmed with GSK, the affected batch has not been imported into Hong Kong.
