Health Canada announced that Leda Health Innovations Inc. is recalling Infacol Suspension 40mg/mL (lot no.: 5142111) containing simethicone as the affected lot may be out of specification for antifoaming assay. The depth of distribution of the product is wholesalers - British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Yukon, Nunavut, Northwest Territories.
Health Canada classified the hazard level of the recall as Type III, i.e. a situation in which the use of, or exposure to, a product is not likely to cause any adverse health consequences.
