Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) announces that Strides Pharma UK Ltd is recalling one batch of Loperamide Hydrochloride Capsules 2mg (batch number: EG23LPA006) as a precautionary measure due to an out of specification result for microbial contamination, reported during retesting. Only the batch specified, a prescribed loperamide product, is known to be affected.
