| Canada: Recall of Teva-Atenolol 50mg due to incorrect product image on the label |

Health Canada announces that Teva Canada Limited is recalling one batch of Teva-Atenolol 50mg Tablet (batch number: 35367406B) from wholesalers and retailers because the affected batch has incorrect product image on the product label.

In Hong Kong, Alonet 50 Tab 50mg (HK-54258) and Atenolol Tevapharm Film-coated Tablet 50mg (HK-63069) are pharmaceutical products containing atenolol which are registered by Teva Pharmaceutical Hong Kong (Teva). Both products are prescription-only medicines. As confirmed with Teva, the manufacturer of the product recalled in Canada is different from the Hong Kong registered products, and the affected lot has not been imported into Hong Kong.
