Health Canada announces that McKesson Canada Quality and Regulatory Shared Services is recalling one lot of Verkazia Emulsion (cyclosporine 0.1% w/v) (lot number: 1N80H) from wholesalers, retailers and healthcare establishments due to out of specification result, potential for presence of particulate matter in this lot. The Marketing Authorization Holder of the product is Santen Incorporated.

In Hong Kong, Ikervis Eye Drops, Emulsion 1mg/ml (HK-65076) is a cyclosporine-containing pharmaceutical product registered by Santen Pharmaceutical (Hong Kong) Limited (Santen), and is a prescription-only medicine. As confirmed with Santen, the affected lot has not been imported into Hong Kong.
