Health Canada announces that Bausch Health, Canada Inc. is recalling one lot of Uceris Rectal Foam (budesonide 2mg/actuation) (lot number: AA20855) from retailers and healthcare establishments because the aerosol canister may be malfunctioning in the kit of the affected lot.
Uceris Rectal Foam is indicated for the induction of remission in adult patients with active mild to moderate distal ulcerative colitis extending up to 40 cm from the anal verge.
