Health Canada announced that Teva Canada Ltd is recalling Teva-Lorazepam Tablet 0.5 mg (lot no.: 35342629C) due to out of specification result for Organic Impurity - USP Related Compound C during stability testing. The depth of distribution of the product is Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan.
Health Canada classified the hazard level of the recall as Type III, i.e. a situation in which the use of, or exposure to, a product is not likely to cause any adverse health consequences.
