Health Canada announced that Sivem Pharmaceuticals ULC is recalling Sertraline Capsule 50mg (lot no.: MV4053) as the affected lot (Sertraline 50mg) may contain units of Sertraline 25mg. The depth of distribution of the product is wholesalers and retailers in Canada.
Health Canada classified the hazard level of the recall as Type III, i.e. a situation in which the use of, or exposure to, a product is not likely to cause any adverse health consequences.
