Health Canada announces that Professional Disposable International Ltd. is recalling 7 lots of Povidone Iodine Swabstick (iodine 1.0% w/w) (lot number: 11901209, 12000458, 12000783, 12001125, 12100122, 11901493, 12001007) from wholesalers because the assay may be out of specification in the affected lots.

In Hong Kong, Povidone-Iodine Swabsticks (HK-48443) is a pharmaceutical product registered by Luen Cheong Hong Ltd (LCH) and manufactured by Professional Disposables International, Inc. As confirmed with LCH, the affected lots have not been imported into Hong Kong.
