| Canada: Recall: Peridex Oral Rinse |

Health Canada announced that 3M Canada Company is recalling two lots of Peridex Oral Rinse containing 0.12% Chlorhexidine Gluconate (lot numbers: 610-995 & 703-004) as the affected lots may be missing the lot code and/or expiry date on the label. The depth of distribution of the product is wholesalers across Canada.
Health Canada classified the hazard level of the recall as Type III, i.e. a situation in which the use of, or exposure to, a product is not likely to cause any adverse health consequences.
