Health Canada announces that Pharmascience Inc is recalling one lot of PMS-FLUOXETINE 10mg Capsule (lot number: 656542) from retailers because the affected lot of PMS-fluoxetine 10 mg may contain capsules of pms-fluoxetine 20 mg.
APO-FLUOXETINE is indicated in adults for the symptomatic relief of major depressive disorder and the symptomatic treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Fluoxetine has been shown to significantly decrease binge-eating and purging activity when compared with placebo treatment.
