Health Canada announces that Pharmascience Inc. is recalling one lot of PMS-Docusate Sodium capsule 100mg (lot number: 2032501) from retailers and wholesalers because the affected lot may contain the presence of foreign capsules (Valproic acid).

In Hong Kong, PMS-Docusate Sodium Cap 100mg (HK-39379) and Soflax Cap 100mg (HK-40969) are registered pharmaceutical products containing docusate sodium which are manufactured by Pharmascience Inc. Both products are registered by Trenton-Boma Ltd (T-Boma). As confirmed with T-Boma, the affected lot has not been imported into Hong Kong.
