Health Canada announces that JAMP Pharma Corporation is recalling one lot of JAMP-RISPERIDONE 0.25 mg Tablet (lot number: ENN064001) from wholesalers because the affected batch may contain foreign matter particles.
The product is indicated for the acute treatment and maintenance treatment of schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders; the short-term symptomatic management of aggression or psychotic symptoms in patients with severe dementia of the Alzheimer type unresponsive to non-pharmacological approaches and when there is a risk of harm to self or others; and monotherapy for the acute management of manic episodes associated with Bipolar I disorder.
