Health Canada announces that Apotex Inc. is recalling 3 lots of Extra Strength Ibuprofen Liquid Gel Capsules 400mg (lot number: 1570621, 1570621, 1570623) from retailers because of presence of cloudy capsules in affected lots due to crystallization of ibuprofen into the gelatin shell.
The product is indicated for headache pain; mild to moderate migraine headaches; relief of minor aches and pains in muscles, bones and joints; pain from inflammation associated with conditions including arthritis and physical or athletic overexertion; menstrual pain; toothache; aches and pains due to the common cold and flu; and reduction of fever.
