Gold 1 Supplements initiated recall of one lot of BLACK PWDR (lot number: 160135), powder mixture of 617mg containing Creatine monohydrate, beta-alanine, Caffeine anhydrous, Agmantine sulfate, synephrine, niacin, piperine and vinpocetine. The product does not have marketing authorization in Canada and the affected lot was tested to contain a combination of synephrine and caffeine that may pose a risk to health.
Health Canada classified the hazard level of the recall as Type II, i.e. a situation in which the use of, or exposure to, a product may cause temporary adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.
