| Canada: Recall: APO-BRIMONIDINE-TIMOP: The weight is out of specification in the affected lot |

Health Canada announces that Apotex Inc. is recalling one lot of APO-BRIMONIDINE-TIMOP ophthalmic solution (brimonidine tartrate 0.2% w/v and timolol 0.5% w/v (as timolol maleate)) (lot number: VK2312) because the weight is out of specification in the affected lot.
The product is indicated for the control of intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with chronic open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension who are insufficiently responsive to IOP reducing monotherapy and when the use of brimonidine tartrate 0.2%/timolol 0.5% (as timolol maleate) ophthalmic solution is considered appropriate. The product is also indicated for reduction of long term fluctuation in IOP.
