Health Canada announces that Apotex Inc is recalling APO-CANDESARTAN 8mg Tablets (lot number: PTG0761A) and APO-CANDESARTAN 16mg Tablets (lot number: PTF5493B, PTG1028A) because the affected lots were manufactured using an active ingredient that was out of specification for dissolution.
The product is indicated for hypertension and heart failure.
