Products found to contain undeclared medicines

| Australia: Lipro Diet Pills |

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has tested the product Lipro Diet Pills and found that they contain an undeclared prescription substance sibutramine, despite the product label claim that they are 100% herbal, and the levels of sibutramine the pills contain are higher than the levels previously approved by the TGA for prescription. Sibutramine was withdrawn from the Australian market in October 2010 after studies showed significant risks of heart disease.
