| The United States: B. MAGI may be harmful due to hidden ingredients |

The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is advising consumers not to purchase or use B. Magi, a product promoted and sold for weight loss on various websites, including www.lamilagrosalab.com, and possibly in some retail stores.
FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that B. Magi contains phenolphthalein, neriifolin and thevetin B not listed on the product label.
Phenolphthalein is a chemical that is not an active ingredient in any approved drug in the U.S. Studies suggest it may increase the risk of cancer.
Neriifolin and thevetin B are found in the yellow oleander (Thevetia peruviana) plant and can cause neurologic, gastrointestinal and cardiovascular adverse health effects that may be severe, or even fatal.
