| Singapore: Recall of ChloraPrep® One-Step - 3 ml applicator clear and ChloraPrep® With Tint - 3 ml Applicator - Hi-Lite Orange |

The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) announces that Becton Dickinson Holdings Pte Ltd is recalling the following products from the retail level:
- ChloraPrep® One-Step - 3 ml applicator clear (batch number: 48062, 8165721, 9015917, 9060734, 9080812, 9156866, 9206555, 9236531 and 9280666)
- ChloraPrep® With Tint - 3 ml Applicator - Hi-Lite Orange (batch number: 11737, 44734, 9053560, 9137903, 9154908, 9218595, 9257903 and 9291279)
This recall is a precautionary measure following the detection of Aspergillus penicillioides in the affected batches of ChloraPrep® 3ml.

In Hong Kong, the above products are not registered pharmaceutical products.
On 24 Jul 2020, the Department of Health (DH) endorsed a licensed wholesale dealer Becton Dickinson Asia Limited to recall all batches of "ChloraPrep One-Step 3ml Applicator - Clear" from the market due to potential growth of a fungus (Aspergillus penicillioides). A press statement was issued on the same date. The DH will continue to monitor the recall.
