The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) announces that Ferring Pharmaceuticals Pte Ltd is recalling 15 batches of Minirin Nasal Spray (desmopressin) 0.1mg/ml (2.5ml) (batch number: S10152R, S10152K, R14347L, R14347H, R12631M, P17633U, P16790S, P12162P, P16790M, P15641H, P12162G, P11328K, P11328R, P11328X, P11328S) to the retail level because out-of-specification results for the levels of the active substance, desmopressin, have been detected during testing.

In Hong Kong, Minirin Nasal Spray 0.1mg/ml (HK-30498) is a pharmaceutical product registered by Ferring Pharmaceuticals Ltd (Ferring), and is a prescription-only medicine. As confirmed with Ferring, the above product is currently not marketed in Hong Kong.
