| China: China Food and Drug Administration’s announcement on change of 複方酮康唑髮用洗劑, 複方酮康唑軟膏and酮康他索乳膏 to prescription drugs (2017 Issue No. 105) |

In Hong Kong, there is no registered pharmaceutical product containing only ketoconazole and clobetasol propionate, but there are 21 registered pharmaceutical products containing three ingredients of ketoconazole, clobetasol propionate and neomycin sulfate as cream, all are prescription-only medicines. The changes in package insert of the three captioned products are similar to the content in overseas reputable references such as Martindale: The Complete Drug Reference. So far, the Department of Health (DH) has not received any case of adverse drug reaction related to combination product of ketoconazole and clobetasol propionate. The DH will remain vigilant on safety update of combination product of ketoconazole and clobetasol propionate issued by other overseas drug regulatory authorities.
