Health Canada announced that Teva Canada Ltd. is recalling ratio-Tecnal C1/2 Capsules (lot no.: 674393) as this lot of ratio-Tecnal C1/2 capsules may contain ratio-Tecnal capsules. The depth of distribution of the product is wholesalers and retailers across Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.
Health Canada classified the hazard level of the recall as Type III, i.e. a situation in which the use of, or exposure to, a product is not likely to cause any adverse health consequences.
