| The United States: Purity First Health Products, Inc. Issues Nationwide Recall of Specific Lots of Healthy Life Chemistry B-50, Multi-Mineral and Vitamin C Products: Due to a Potential Health Risk |

FDA announced that Purity First Health Products, Inc. is voluntarily recalling two lots of Healthy Life Chemistry B-50 (100 capsules) (lot numbers F03Q and C02R), one lot of Healthy Life Chemistry Multi-Mineral (200 capsules) (lot number 12-829) and all lot numbers for Healthy Life Chemistry Vitamin C (200 capsules) (lot number E03Q) to the consumer/user level. The B-50 capsules were tested by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and have been found to contain Methasterone (schedule III controlled substance) and Dimethazine. The Multi-Mineral and Vitamin C capsules appear to indicate the presence of Dimethyltestosterone. The contaminated B-50, Multi-Mineral and Vitamin C capsules potentially could result in the following adverse events: liver injury, increased blood lipid levels, increased risk of heart attack and stroke, masculinization of women, shrinkage of the testicles, breast enlargement, infertility in males, and short stature in children. Not to mention fatigue, muscle cramping, and myalgia. Products were distributed Nationwide via the internet, retail and through retail stores between July 2012 thru June 2013.
