The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is advising consumers not to purchase or use Rhino 7 Platinum 5000, a product promoted and sold for sexual enhancement on various websites and possibly in some retail stores in U.S.
FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that Rhino 7 Platinum 5000 contains sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra, an FDA-approved prescription drug for erectile dysfunction. This undeclared ingredient may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs, such as nitroglycerin, and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. People with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease often take nitrates.
