Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) announces the termination of Manufacturer/importer licence (MIA) of Medlock Medical Limited (actioned month: Jun 2024).

In Hong Kong, Sterets Tisept Cutaneous Solution (HK-66758) and Sterets Unisept Cutaneous Solution 0.05% w/v (HK-66767) are pharmaceutical products manufactured by Medlock Medical Limited in United Kingdom. The products are registered by DCH Auriga (Hong Kong) Limited - Healthcare Division (DCH Auriga) and are over-the-counter medicines. In the MHRA's notice, the MIA of Medlock Medical Limited was terminated in Jun 2024 at the request of the company. As confirmed by DCH Auriga, the last batch of the above products imported into Hong Kong was manufactured before the termination of MIA. Therefore, there is no impact on the registered products in Hong Kong.
