Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) announces the cancellation of Manufacturer’s Licence (MIA) of Pharmaserve (North West) Limited (actioned month: Jan 2024).

In Hong Kong, there is one registered pharmaceutical product, namely, Fortacin Cutaneous Spray Solution 150mg/ml+50mg/ml (HK-65931), manufactured by Pharmaserve (North West) Limited in the United Kingdom. This product is registered by Orient Europharma Co Ltd (Orient Europharma). It is a prescription-only medicine. As confirmed with Orient Europharma, the last batch of the above product imported into Hong Kong was expired in Jan 2023. Therefore, the above MHRA’s announcement has no impact on the registered product in Hong Kong.
