The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) announces that A. Menarini Singapore Pte Ltd is recalling one batch of Solcoseryl Eye Gel (batch number: 112718) from wholesalers due to non-compliances in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

In Hong Kong, Solcoseryl Eye Gel (HK-21628) is a pharmaceutical product registered by A. Menarini Hong Kong Limited (A. Menarini). As confirmed with A. Menarini, the affected batch has not been imported into Hong Kong.
On 7 Oct 2020, the Department of Health (DH) endorsed A. Menarini to recall Solcoseryl Eye Gel (HK-21628) from the market as a precautionary measure because the sterility of the product cannot be guaranteed. A press statement was issued on the same date. DH will continue to monitor the recall.
