Singapore: Recall of one batch of Ikervis 1mg/ml Eye Drop Emulsion |
|
Health Sciences Authority (HSA) announces retail-level recall of one batch of Ikervis 1mg/ml Eye Drop Emulsion (ciclosporin) (batch 1L49) due to a manufacturing issue that may result in the eye drop being less effective. During routine stability studies, it was found that Ikervis (batch 1L49P) did not meet the active ingredient targeted concentration and presented a lower concentration due to crystallisation of the active ingredient. Patients who use the affected eye drops may get lesser relief of their symptoms associated with severe dry eye syndrome.
