Health Sciences Authority (HSA) announces that Atlantic Pharmaceutical (S) Pte Ltd is recalling one batch of Chlortralim Opthalmic Ointment 1% (chlortetracycline) (batch number: 234012) to the retail level, as a precautionary measure due to presence of sediments in some units of the affected batch.
The product is used for ocular infections.

In Hong Kong, Chlortralim Eye Oint 1% (HK-06476) is a pharmaceutical product registered by Atlantic Pharmaceutical Limited (Atlantic). The product is a prescription-only medicine. The Department of Health (DH) has contacted Atlantic to assess the local impact of the incident and is following up on the affected product.
