| Singapore: Recall of Cafoline 300mg/30ml IV Solution for Injection (Calcium Folinate) (English only) |

Health Sciences Authority (HSA) announces that Pills and Pokes Pte Ltd and Annwvn Healthcare Pte Ltd are recalling one batch of Cafoline 300mg/30ml IV Solution for Injection (calcium folinate) (batch number: 24115003) to the retail level as a precautionary measure due to presence of active ingredient precipitates in some vials of the batch.
The product is used as an antidote to folic acid antagonists, such as methotrexate; as an adjunct to fluorouracil in the treatment of colorectal cancer; and in the treatment of folate-deficient megaloblastic anaemia.
