| The United States: Pink Pussycat Brand products may be harmful due to hidden drug ingredients (English only) |

The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is advising consumers not to purchase or use Pink Pussycat products sold for sexual enhancement across various websites and retail stores. FDA laboratory analysis confirmed Pink Pussycat products sold in various dosage forms including capsules, liquids, honey and chocolate contain ingredients not listed on the product labels.
FDA laboratory analysis confirmed Pink Pussycat Liquid Shot contains sildenafil not listed on the product label and Pink Pussycat Honey contains sildenafil and tadalafil not listed on the product label.
Sildanafil and tadalafil are used to treat erectile dysfunction. They may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs such as nitroglycerin and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. This is especially concerning for people with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or heart disease, who commonly take nitrate-containing medications.
