Canada: Recall: Forta for Men Capsule; found to contain undeclared tadalafil |

Health Canada announced that Vivo Brand Management is recalling seven lots of Forta for Men Capsule as one lot was found to be adulterated with undeclared Tadalafil (in the capsule shell). The firm initiated a recall of all lots as a precaution. Details of the lot numbers involved can be found at the Health Canada website.
The product was labelled to contain Cinnamomum aromaticum 70.0 mg, Epimedium brevicornu 130.0 mg, Lycium barbarum 80.0 mg, Ophiocordyceps sinensis 120.0 mg and Panax ginseng 100.0 mg. The depth of distribution of the product is retailers across Canada.
Health Canada classified the hazard level of the recall as Type I, i.e. a situation in which there is a reasonable probability that the use of, or exposure to, a product will cause serious adverse health consequences or death
