Health Canada announces that Baxter Corporation is recalling 2 lots of Tisseel Kit (lot number: 1503153, 1503154) from wholesalers and healthcare establishments because the dissolution time is out of specification in the affected lots.

In Hong Kong, Tisseel (in Synthetic Aprotinin) Solutions for Sealant 2ml (HK-62819), Tisseel (in Synthetic Aprotinin) Solutions for Sealant 4ml (HK-62820) and Tisseel (in Synthetic Aprotinin) Solutions for Sealant 10ml (HK-62821) are pharmaceutical products registered by Baxter Healthcare Ltd (Baxter). The products are prescription-only medicines. As confirmed by Baxter, the affected lots have not been imported into Hong Kong.
