Health Canada announces that AbbVie Corporation is recalling 2 lots of SALOFALK 500mg Tablet (Delayed-Release) (lot number: 247646A, 247647A) from retailers because some tablets in the affected lots may show black spots due to the oxidation of the active ingredient.
The product is indicated for the treatment of acute ulcerative colitis and prevention of relapse of Crohn’s disease in patients following bowel resection.
