Health Canada announces that SunForce Health & Organics Inc. is recalling 2 lots of RespirActin Deep Lung Cleanse Capsule (Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra, Root) 175mg; Thymus (Thymus vulgaris, Leaf) 250mg; N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine 75mg) (lot number: 24S1301, 24S1302) from retailers because affected lots do not contain medicinal ingredients listed on the label.
The product is traditionally used in herbal medicine as an expectorant to help relieve chest complaints, such as catarrhs, coughs and bronchitis. It also provides antioxidants.
