Health Canada announced that Pharmascience Inc. is recalling Personnelle Omeprazole Tablet (Delayed-Release) 20mg (lot no.: 493740 and 493830) as the affected lots may be out of specification for impurities. The depth of distribution of the product is wholesalers and pharmacies in Canada.
Health Canada classified the hazard level of the recall as Type II, i.e. a situation in which the use of, or exposure to, a product may cause temporary adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.
