Health Canada announces that Pfizer Canada ULC is recalling one lot of Docetaxel Injection USP 10 mg/mL (lot number: DC31807A) from healthcare establishments because the impurity 10-oxo-docetaxel could be out-of-specification in the affected lot.

In Hong Kong, Hospira Docetaxel Injection 20mg/2ml (HK-60801), Hospira Docetaxel Injection 160mg/16ml (HK-60802) and Hospira Docetaxel Injection 80mg/8ml (HK-60803) are pharmaceutical products registered by Pfizer Corporation Hong Kong Limited (Pfizer), and are prescription-only medicines. As confirmed with Pfizer, the affected batch has not been imported into Hong Kong.
