Health Canada announces that Purdue Pharma Canada is recalling 4 lots of Betadine Sore Throat Gargle Liquid (Povidone-iodine 1.0%) (lot number: 138487, 138488, 138489 and 138792) from wholesalers because the assay is out of specification in the affected lots.

In Hong Kong, Betadine Gargle and Mouth Wash (HK-10853) is a pharmaceutical product registered by Mundipharma (Hong Kong) Limited (Mundipharma). As confirmed with Mundipharma, the affected batches have not been imported into Hong Kong.
