Products found to contain undeclared medicines

| Canada: Huo Li Bao and Ren Sem Tu Chon Chin Kuo Pill |

The Singapore Health Sciences Authority (HSA) warned consumers not to buy or use the above products after Huo Li Bao was found to contain undeclared furosemide (which was identified as “frusemide” in the HSA alert), piroxicam and chlorpheniramine, while Ren Sem Tu Chon Chin Kuo Pill was found to contain undeclared dexamethasone and chlorpheniramine.

In Hong Kong, the above products are not registered pharmaceutical products. The news released by HSA was posted on Drug Office website on 28 June 2011.
