Australia: Safety advisory: Counterfeit Prosolution tablets contain undeclared substances tadalafil and sidenafil |

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has tested two samples of a product labelled Prosolution tablets and found that one of those samples contained the undeclared substances tadalafil and sildenafil. The sample tested by the TGA that contained tadalafil and sildenafil is a counterfeit version of Prosolution tablets.
Tadalafil and sildenafil should only be used on the advice of a medical practitioner and requires a prescription by a medical practitioner. The taking of medicines containing tadalafil and sildenafil without the advice of a medical practitioner poses a significant and serious health risk.
Consumers should be aware there is a counterfeit version of Prosolution tablets available for purchase. Consumers are advised to stop taking it and consult their healthcare practitioner if they have any concerns arising from this use of this product.
