Products found to contain undeclared medicines

Australia: Safety advisory: Ultra Men For Men tablets

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) advised consumers should stop taking Ultra Men For Men tablets and discard any remaining tablets as it was found to contain undeclared prescription substances tadalafil and glibenclamide. This is despite the claim made on the box that it is 100% herbal extracts and contains no medicinies. And the packaging states the goods are capsules, however the product is in tablet form. Consumers are advised that tadalafil is a prescription-only medicine (which is the active ingredient in Cialis) and glibenclamide is a prescription only substance used for blood glucose controlling.

Please refer to the following website in TGA for details: http://www.tga.gov.au/safety/alerts-medicine-ultra-men-120829.htm

In Hong Kong, the above product is not a registered pharmaceutical product.
