The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has tested a product labelled Semenax capsules and found that they contain the undeclared substance yohimbine. Consumers are advised that yohimbine is considered to be a prescription-only substance and prohibited import into Australia. TGA investigations have shown that a number of people in Australia may have bought the product online. Consumers are advised to stop taking the product and take any remaining capsules to their local pharmacy for safe disposal. If they have any concerns arising from their use of this product, consult their health care practitioner.
