Products found to contain undeclared medicines

 
Australia: Safety advisory: Dragon Power Capsules were found to contain undeclared sildenafil, zopiclone and phenolphthalein
 
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has tested a product labelled Dragon Power Capsules and found that the capsules contain the undeclared substances sildenafil, zopiclone and phenolphthalein. Dragon Power Capsules pose a serious risk to health and should not be taken. Sildenafil is currently a prescription-only substance in Australia. Zopiclone is a prescription-only substance in Australia for the treatment of insomnia. Phenolphthalein is a prescription-only substance previously marketed as an oral laxative, withdrawn from sale from many markets in the late 1990's due to concerns over its carcinogenicity with long term use. Dragon Power Capsules pose a serious risk to health and should not be taken. TGA investigations have shown that a number of people in Australia may have bought the product online.

Consumers are advised to stop taking the product and consult their health care practitioner if they have any concerns arising from the use of the product.
