The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) is aware that some Australian consumers may have purchased the product Pink Lady for Women capsules over the internet. The label of this product claims the ingredients to be 100% herbal in origin. However, analysis undertaken by the TGA Laboratories in Australia has confirmed the presence of therapeutic quantities of tadalafil in these capsules. Consumers are advised that tadalafil is a prescription-only medicine in Australia, and may be harmful if taken without the supervision of a medical professional, particularly in patients with history of cardiovascular disease.
