Health Canada announced that Prestige Brands is conducting a voluntary recall of one lot (lot 3742) of its “Infants’ Little Remedies for Fevers” after testing conducted by the company indicated some bottles may contain less than the claimed amount of acetaminophen. As a result, the product may not reduce fevers, relieve aches and pains due to colds and flu, or provide relief for headaches or teething pain. Health Canada would like to remind parents who have purchased or given “Infants’ Little Remedies for Fevers” to their children to contact their healthcare practitioner if they have any concerns.
