The Office of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) hosted an online exchange meeting on 15 December 2022. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Center (GBA Center) for Drug Evaluation and Inspection of National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), the GBA Center for Medical Device Evaluation and Inspection of NMPA, the Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau of Macao SAR Government (ISAF) and the Drug Office (DO) and the Health Sciences and Technology Office (HSTO) of the Department of Health of HKSAR Government (DH) were invited to the exchange meeting. The objective of the exchange meeting was to facilitate and establish a direct communication mechanism between the two GBA Centers, Hong Kong and Macao, and to lay the groundwork for future collaboration.
Through respective representatives presented and exchanged of views, participants had a better understanding of each departments, which facilitate the collaboration between the GBA Centers and Hong Kong and Macao.
