How to Use Eye Drops

How to use eye drops

1. Wash your hands with soap thoroughly.
2. Gently shake the bottle. Remove the cap without touching the bottle tip.
3. Tilt your head backwards and look upwards. Gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a pocket.
4 Instill the eye drops into the pocket. Do not let the dropper touch your eye, eyelashes or eyelid to avoid eye injury and contamination of the tip.
5 Close your eyes and gently press against the inner corner of your eye with your fingers for a few minutes to prevent the drops from draining into your nose or throat.
6. Wipe away any excess liquid around your eye with a clean tissue.
7. Do not wash or wipe the tip. Place the cap back to the bottle and tighten it right away.
